Fattening area Slašćak

Fattening area Slašćak in Viškovci is intended for fattening male cattle that we get from dairy farms in Ivankovo and Tomašanci.

The capacity of the Slašćak fattening area in 4 stables is 1,500 heads of fattening cattle. Cattle come to the fattening area six months old, and we fatten them up to 600 kg of body weight and sell them to meat industries.

The technological project of fattening cattle production in the Slašćak fattening area begins with the transport of male calves from 5.5-6.5 months old (fattening cattle). Male calves are bought and brought from farms and kept in fattening until 22 months old, with weight of approximately 600-700 kg. After the fattening is completed, it is planned for fattening cattle to go to the slaughterhouse and to the meat industry for further processing.

Currently, The Slašćak farm has the capacity to hold 3600 heads of fattening cattle in 5 stables.
The capacity of one concrete silo for storing corn silage, necessary for feeding beef and for the needs of biogas plant, is 23,100 tons.
