Pig breeding
In 2006 pig farming in Osatina began by organizing cooperative pig fattening.
In 2007 its own pig farming began with an initial capacity of 1,400 pieces.
Our own production of piglets, for further fattening with quality genetic material, was a step forward. The annual capacity is 45,000 fattening pigs. Our goal is to process a number of the produced fattening pigs in our own meat industry, and to put some of them as live cattle on the market. All facilities, where we raise pigs, are equipped with state-of-the-art liquid feeding technological equipment for and ventilation systems.
Pigs for breeding come to Trnava farm from one farm at a time to maintain a high health status.
Since 2013, there is a pig fattening area in Đurđevac as part of Osatina Group d.o.o.
