Soy toaster
The soybean toaster was opened and put into operation in July 2011 at the Semeljci silo location and since then, in addition to its own needs, it provides service to its subcontractors with low and competitive frying prices.
Toasted soy is a very valuable protein and energy feed.
Full-fat toasted soybeans retain about 34% of crude protein with biologically highly valuable essential amino acids and about 20% of fat. The high temperatures of about 120-125 °C of soybean roasting destroy and inactivate the action of urease enzymes and trypsin inhibitors, increase the content of by-pass proteins that avoid and bypass fermentation in the rumen of cows and are available in the small intestine; the result is improved digestibility, nutritional value and feed utilization.
Fattening cattle achieve high body weight gains, excellent feed conversion, and cows, goats and sheep have excellent milk production. It is optimal to give toasted soybeans in fodder mixtures for poultry 10-17%, pigs 11-13%, calves up to 6% and cows around 17%.
